There are plenty of great automatic Sims 4 random trait generators out there, but I decided to make my own tables for manually generating random traits for those days when I feel like rolling dice instead. These are much like my Pathfinder roleplaying game race tables in that you just need a d% or another way of generating numbers between 1 and 100 (Excel’s =RANDBETWEEN(1,100) function will do that, and there are many websites out there for generating random numbers).
I’ve created three columns that you can use to generate traits. The first column is for normal Sims: this means an equal chance of rolling positive traits than negative traits. The second column is for ‘really good’ Sims, or Sims you want to have higher chance of having positive traits. The third column offers a higher chance of negative traits.
If you roll ‘roll again’, a trait that is incompatible with one you already have, or a trait that comes from a pack you don’t have, simply roll again or choose your own trait.
